Refer, Earn & Save Programme Terms

The programme

The Refer, Earn & Save programme allows eligible customers to earn discount credits by recommending The Security Tutor to friends, family and colleagues. The promotional earning period runs from 15 October 2026 until 31 March 2027. Successful referrals recorded during the promotional period can earn credits, subject to the qualification conditions below.

Earning credits

After you complete a course with us, we will invite you to join the programme by email, where permitted by your communication preferences, and give you a unique referral code to share.

• A qualifying referral is someone who books and successfully completes a qualifying paid course, quoting your referral code, during the promotional period.
• Each successful qualifying referral earns one 5% discount credit.
• You must have completed a course with The Security Tutor before your referrals can earn credits.
• Referrals made by yourself, or by someone using your own contact details, do not qualify.
• A maximum of five active credits may be held at any one time.

Using your credits

When you are ready to book, quote your referral code when you enquire, or simply book online using the same email address and your available discount will be applied automatically.

• Maximum discounts are 25% for eligible Door Supervisor, Security Guard and Close Protection Refresher courses, and 15% for eligible full qualifications.
• Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value and cannot be used more than once.
• Credits cannot be combined with other promotional discounts.
• If you use fewer credits than you hold, the remaining credits stay available until they expire.

Expiry

Each credit is valid for 36 months from its individual award date, and each has its own expiry date, which we track for you. We will send reminder emails before your credits expire, subject to your communication preferences. Expired credits are removed automatically. Although the campaign closes to new referrals on 31 March 2027, credits you have already earned remain valid for their full 36 months.

Refunds and cancellations

If a qualifying booking made with your referral code is refunded or cancelled, the credit earned from it will be withdrawn. If a credit has already been used before the booking is withdrawn, we will record this and may contact you. If your own booking that used credits is refunded or cancelled, the credits you used will be returned to your balance with their original expiry dates.

General

Course eligibility, referral validation and expiry rules apply. Advertised course benefits remain subject to their normal eligibility conditions. Prices shown in programme materials are illustrative, based on advertised prices at the time of writing, and may change before booking.
